The onboarding process is more than just having a laptop set up for your new employee on their first day. Product companies need to recognize that onboarding is equally as important as hiring. It’s counterproductive to overlook the onboarding experience because it’s costly to start the process all over again––especially when a company’s goal is to scale sustainably.
