First up—Shaun Clowes on why all PMs should be growth PMs.
Whereas core PMs own parts of the product, growth PMs own KPIs and experiments. They also tend to be way more data-driven.
This new distinction between core and growth PM implies that PMs aren’t as focused on growth as their orgs would like them to be, but our guest doesn’t think that’s helpful.
Having worked on both sides, Shaun was the head of product growth at Atlassian before joining MetroMile as their Chief Product Officer.
