It's indeed MY pleasure to sit down and have a talk with John Valentine, the director of the Downtown CDC, about upcoming Pittsburgh Fashion Week, their mission, and the progress that is being made to revitalize down town Pittsburgh. Just a few years ago, the Golden Triangle was a ghost town after people left (or fled) work to their homes in the burgh's burbs. Today... well... go see for yourself. Downtown is a bustling hub of entertainment, events and restaurants. John admits they still have a long way to go, but it's easy to see that a great deal of progress has already been made. Pittsburgh Fashion week, in it's 9th year (4th, run by the CDC), is September 30 through October 3rd this year.
