In my not so humble opinion, Lee Taft is THE BEST practitioner of multi-directional speed training in the world, and in this episode I really feel like we capture lightning in a bottle.

While Lee primarily works as a consultant these days, over his storied career he’s owned his own facility numerous times, coached at virtually every level of sport, and perhaps more importantly has coached just about every type of athlete under the sun – all which gives him a truly unique approach and understanding of speed development.

So whether we’re talking about acceleration, top-end speed, curved running, backpedaling or lateral movement, we literally cover ALL of these topics in depth in this episode – all in an effort to help make sure YOU get the best possible results with the athletes you train.

When we do any sort of curved running that emphasizes the pronation and supination at the foot…so I think the big mistake coaches make is they go BIG CURVES right off the bat. – Lee Taft
