A behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening in the Colorado Springs arts and culture scene, with a focus on both in-person and virtual First Friday events. This is a replay of live coverage of the first hour of First Friday, co-hosted by Studio809 and Peak Radar on June 5, 2020.

Featuring live interviews with some of the personalities behind the night’s events, First Friday Live dives into the art, the energy, and personal stories. Each month’s episode is hosted by Studio 809’s Dave Gardner and Deputy Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Angela Seals, with a revolving door of special guests. Spanning the Creative Corridor from Downtown Colorado Springs to Old Colorado City to Manitou Springs, First Friday unites galleries, artists, creative businesses, and performers once a month for an event that is always different and full of surprises that are worth exploring together!

First Friday Downtown features FREE monthly cultural events throughout Downtown Colorado Springs. Galleries, museums, cultural organizations, and retailers host art openings, artist receptions, performances, and more the first Friday of each month, from 5 – 8 p.m. Additional details at www.downtowncs.com/firstfriday. First Fridays now also include arts happenings in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, with assistance from Shop Old Colorado City and Manitou Art Center.
