After we catch up with co-host Joanna e Russo, we are joined at (7:03) by Claire Wood, the (at the time) New Balance Business Unit Manager for Global Performance Running Footwear, who talks to us on her last day on the job. We start out talking about her ten years eight months and twenty two days at New Balance and her history in the running community. At (10:39) Claire talks about breaking into a male dominated industry, some of the challenges and more importantly the support along the journey. We also attempt to make everyone in the room cry except Docs he does not have tear ducts. At (15:03) we ask Claire why she is leaving New Balance, her move to Portland, Oregon, and her next stop at Sorel. At (19:12) we circle back and talk more about Claires time at New Balance.
