A common myth of our time is that "everything you need is inside of you," that you can meet all life's challenges on your own, and that you are essentially your own savior. But at the heart of our faith is the truth that God does for us what we can't do for ourselves, and nowhere is that clearer than in the fact that he sent Jesus to lay down his life for us and to be our savior!
