One of my pet hates with social media, especially Facebook, is when people ask for a friend request and immediately try pitching to you. It is like waving a red flag to a bull and It makes me mad. What happened to get to know the person first, and building that knows, like, and trust factor. It actually takes longer to build trust online, due to the number of scams out there. However using social media the smart way will make a difference, and I am sure you are the same as me, where we actually want to stand out from the crowd
