Manage episode 286636008 series 1521674
Today on the podcast we have the honor of having Racheal Hartley, author of the new book Gentle Nutrition, on the show.
Rachael’s book Gentle Nutrition explores what healthy eating looks like from a non-diet perspective. It teaches you how to improve your relationship with food and how take care of your body with real life tips and tools that have helped my clients. By taking food off it’s pedestal as the end all, be all of health, Gentle Nutrition creates space for engaging with nutrition in a more relaxed, and sustainable manner. When we leave diet culture and the assumption that weight equals health behind, we can focus on truly honoring our health and well-being.
Rachael Hartley, RD, LD, is a Columbia, SC-based nutrition therapist, certified intuitive eating counselor and nationally-recognized food and nutrition expert. In 2014, Rachael opened her private practice, where she specializes in intuitive eating, disordered eating and eating disorders, women's health, and digestive disorders.
