Kirsten Hinder's art-tech company is bridging the gap between analogue art and the digital crypto art space with an exciting technology that creates a digital signature for physical artwork, enabling it to exist on the blockchain.
NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have been around since 2017 but following the recent Christie's auction in Asia, where NFT sales reached over 100 Million dollars, the digital art space has become more present and more relevant to artists, art collectors and gallerists.
On the podcast Kirsten helps to decode this new art space and explores how a digital record of provenance and artists records can add value to art work and become a valuable digital asset alongside the physical artwork.
