Today we honor moms by taking a look at an Old Testament mother named Jochebed, the mother of Moses. Like all mom’s by faith she faces some difficult motherhood decisions hoping that she has correctly heard the direction of God for her child. Mom, the great thing about you is, whether you made the right or wrong choice, you always had our best interest in mind. And why do I say right or wrong choice? Because Moses’ mother, after putting her baby boy into that wicker basket in the Nile, sends his sister to see what will happen to her boy. It was a difficult decision and she is hoping it is the right decision, that good will result. That is what a mom does all day long. Thank you moms!!!
