Every county election official in Nebraska is being sued by one man.
The court filing names county election officials in all 93 counties and asks the judge to require local Sheriffs collect the ballots cast in recent elections and conduct a “forensic audit.” He demands the state legislature require the use of hand-counted paper ballots. Hill also seeks a billion dollars in damages.
In response, the Nebraska Attorney General and the state’s largest counties filed motions asking the lawsuit be dropped.
