Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

On this episode of Nabruh Talk, Jeen the Jeenyes and Saad the Guru sat down with Rutgers Alumna, Chemistry major, and Linden native, Manessa Lormesjuste. Manessa has always had a strong background of science since her earlier days while participating in science fairs and experimenting different practices on her own. Her family and cultural background is a huge part of why she is highly disciplined as a student and just a person in general. Manessa, who graduated from Rutgers this past May, 2017, explains what she had to deal with being a woman of color in a field that is predominantly filled with white men. None the less, she was able to earn herself, a lot of experience while also landing a well respected career after college.
