August 19, 2017 Corinna posts on Facebook that she is in Brooklyn New York. During the month of August, Corinna becomes involved in the sex trade in New York City, and a man by the name Yhovanny Peguero allegedly assaults her at the Harlem Vista Hotel. A 6 month order of protection was placed but she did maintain contact with him during this time.
In September she meets a man by the name of Ishi Woney, between September 10th-September 20th he was one of her main forms of contact. The last day Corinna is seen. According to police, someone reported seeing her leave the Haven Motel on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens early in the morning. Prosecutors believe Ishi Woney was with Corinna at the motel that morning. Ishi was arrested a time after for drug charges and assault. And he was convicted for federal sex trafficking and is currently under a 17 year sentence.
It is believed Yhvonnay may be holding Corinna hostage and subjecting her to prostitution.
