The TheinerThon returns to MriyaReport with an extra ‘Active Measures’ segment.

We were joined by Thomas C. Theiner @noclador (Twitter) on Whitsunday / Memorial Day, May 28 passing through the night for another long form conversation, the 'The TheinerThon Active Measures’ featuring two segments with the regular Doolittle Air Wing Crew and our Seals & Rangers and, of course, the continuous Q&A with our global audience.

In an epic, nine and a half hour conversation Thomas and we continued our discussion about the state of the war in Ukraine, his thoughts on the upcoming Ukrainian counteroffensives, the necessary capabilities, weapons systems, equipment and supplies, logistics, military training, strategy and tactics, and what the Coalition of the Willing has done thus far in support for Ukraine to win the war.

In the aviation segment Thomas with the Doolittle crew reviewed from a 30,000 ft view how the decisions within the Coalition of the Willing came to be. We then touched upon the types, capabilities, weapons systems, strategic and tactical employment of the F-16, the impact on the outlook of the war, as well as training regimes, requirements and whether they may be a complementing force of Typhoons (Eurofighters) in the offing.

Further on, joined by Nuno Felix and John Spencer whilst Chuck was en route, Thomas spoke about the recent raids and incursions into Belgorod, the use of special forces, and in detail the careful and focussed preparations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the counteroffensive as well as the array of deliveries of systems and platforms allowing the AFU to build up core capabilities: mobile anti-air defense, self-propelled artillery, rocket artillery systems, use of Western tanks, IFVs and APCs.

With our audience Thomas and the crew discussed the geopolitics, modern leadership, Ukrainian military ethos vs the invading Russian army, their government and society, and touched upon a host of questions including black swan events such as potential regime change in Belarus.
