119: Legalize Mushroom Therapy in Utah w/ Bridger Jensen & Alex Koritz
Manage episode 348366156 series 2763297
The campaign is underway in Utah to legalize Mushroom therapy!
We are joined by Bridger Jensen, MS, and Alex Koritz with Utah Mushroom Therapy, a growing coalition of several Utah non-profits that are supporting the legal use of psilocybin for the treatment of depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma.
Bridger founded Utah Mushroom Therapy with the goal of presenting a petition to the Utah Legislature with thousands of signatures from Utahns that support the clinical use of psilocybin, the organic compound found in magic mushrooms.
Buckle up! This lively discussion covers everything from the history of psychedelic use for clinical health and the current research being conducted by world-class universities; to the spiritually enhancing aspects of psilocybin and Utah politics and culture.
Enjoy! And please sign and share the petition!
