We have had a lot happen in the game since we last recorded! The Season of Mischief is underway and we are learning the vanilla spawn pool as we go. One week in to the Season and we have already had two events. The introduction of Hoopa was a bit lack luster as it required just about no effort at all. It tied in to the Incense Day Collection Challenge, but many completed it so quickly that they were left searching for motivation to continue playing.

Next up we had the Psychic Spectacular, which brought us a new spawn pool as well as the debut of Inkay and Malamar. Time will tell if Trainers care more about event volume than quality, as the first two events of the Season don’t seem to pack a punch.

Details have been released for the rescheduled 2020 Safari Zones with events returning to Liverpool, Philadelphia, and St. Louis. The Event features will be the same for previous ticket holders whether they play on location or at home. Many in the community are upset that additional tickets will not be available for purchase, however it is important to remember that this is a make up event.

Finally we Poke The Bear with a discussion on what everyone is thinking now that they have had some time to digest Niantic’s announcements. The general vibe did lean towards optimism, however many thought that the messaging was just hollow words. It is clear that actions will speak louder to the Community than words. The ball is in Niantic’s court.
