A career in healthcare, while extremely rewarding, can also be stressful at times. At UnityPoint Health – Cedar Rapids, healthcare workers are encouraged take care of themselves so they can continue providing their best care for others. One of the ways our team members can do this is through our Reigniting the Spirit of Caring retreats. Kallie Gutierrez, nurse manager of St. Luke’s Operating Room and one of the leaders of the Spirit of Caring Retreats, and Sharron Sturgeon, behavioral health nurse at St. Luke’s who attended one of the retreats, join Dr. Arnold to share about the retreat and how it can benefit healthcare workers.
