3 Stages of Change with Karen McCullough
Manage episode 344849510 series 3342754
How open are you to change? Whether your instinct is to embrace change or to run from it, your life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change. Is there a framework that is easy to remember and that allows us to move through change so it can be more exciting and less overwhelming? Today’s gal pal, Karen McCullough, has a framework forged out of years of change and then put to the test during the pandemic party when her livelihood literally changed overnight.
Karen McCullough is a nationally known keynote speaker and expert on change, generational opportunities, and workforce trends. I’ve seen her speak and what I love is that she’s relevant, meaningful, and fun – my kinda gal! She makes you think, makes you laugh, and sparks a realistic path to positive change! Having been at this a while, I wanted to gain her insights into how we can choose to embrace change and the proactive steps we can take.
In this episode we talk about:
- The 3 Stages of Change are Relate, Repeat, and Reframe.
- Why it is harder to ask for help in the new world of work.
- Dealing with change in a positive way.
- Why changing your nail color is a great first step to making other changes.
- Embody the change you want to make.
