I’ve been sensing for awhile that now is the time to share more of my family’s story so I want to start with **Trigger warning** . This feels vulnerable because what happened to my grandmother is tragic. I need to give a trigger warning that her story is about trauma and domestic violence, not suitable for children or any ears that could be triggered by such a topic. It’s also not something to listen to just casually- as I desire to share her story in such a way that honors her life.
