Manage episode 315525500 series 2856680
In this article – “Speculating on the ‘new normal’” – we discuss the many ways the economy has evolved since the pandemic began. As vaccines roll out and industries rebound, supply chain issues are showing that it’s harder to restart an economy than to pause one. We also look at the reasons behind and the difference between rising prices and concerns around long-term inflation. Other factors, like the rise of hybrid working arrangements, also contribute to increased uncertainty for businesses and create new factors and risks to monitor and manage in the years ahead.
