How do you increase your emotional agility during difficult times? I’m excited to welcome a very special guest today, Dr. Susan David. Susan is an award-winning Harvard Medical School psychologist and author of the #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling book, Emotional Agility.

In this episode, Susan shares how emotional agility includes skills like curiosity, compassion, and courage that determine how we deal with complicated or challenging situations.

She also warns us to avoid rigid living, which causes us to push emotions aside in the service of forced positivity. Susan suggests that it takes more courage to notice what you are feeling and do the same for others than to avoid negative emotions altogether.
