Our sixth episode and FIRST BOOK REIVEW! We are posting today in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah), publishing an absolutely chaotic, horrific, and ultimately humbling experience we felt when interviewing Oren Schneider, the author of award-winning The Apprentice of Buchenwald. Mr. Schneider is an entrepreneur and business owner. He is the CEO of CIRCA, the leading global hard-asset trading platform for pre-owned luxury goods. He co-founded Adama Partners, a venture firm and advisory boutique focused on the global gem and jewelry industry.
Oren Schneider spent a lifetime documenting his grandfather’s story, and complemented it with genealogical information researched with the help of www.myhertiage.com to write The Apprentice of Buchenwald. His photos, audio recordings, and transcripts made it possible to recreate Alex’s story; a young man who rose to the occasion to fight back and leave a footprint on the history of World War II and The Holocaust.
