More About Tracy Sands, DVM:
A practice owner and full time DVM, Tracy Sands is passionate about feline medicine and general dermatology. Her true joy lies in the management tasks of empowering the support staff, maintaining a positive workplace culture and building a brand. Tracy's practice, Healing Paws Veterinary Care, has remained curbside as she has found that through the use of technology, the curbside experience can be truly excellent for owners and even more Fear Free for pets then traditional practice. She believes that creating a good experience for clients, pets, and staff all starts with communication and that technology allows us to do that better than ever! Tracy loves empowering veterinary professionals and improving veterinary mental wellness and so she founded the Vet You Matter campaign and #vetmedjoy movement. Tracy and her husband enjoy hiking and kayaking and they share their farm with their children, dogs, cat, chickens, guinea fowl, and sheep.
