Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses that affect millions of people worldwide. They can manifest in a variety of ways, including anorexia, bulimia, ortherexia and binge eating disorder among others. One of the most insidious aspects of these disorders is the lies they tell us, which can prevent us from seeking the help we need to recover.
