Generational poverty is very real and changing this cycle can start with you! When we come from a money journey where there is not much or the scarcity mindset abounds, it is easy to follow that same course, because “we are supposed to” and we believe that “it is all we got”. However, we can change this and our guest in this episode is a big testament to this.

In this episode, Rebecca Contreras, author of the book “Lost Girl – From the Hood to the White House to Millionaire Entrepreneur” and a social and business entrepreneur, shares with us her experiences around money and the catalyst that made her change and become a successful entrepreneur. She also shares an example of the scarcity mindset of our Latino Community and what financial independence means to her.

What you'll learn about in today's episode:

  • Rebecca’s upbring and experiences around money
  • How the opportunity came for Rebecca to work with a President of the United States
  • What financial independence means to her and her biggest financial lesson
