So many of us don't like to talk about our feelings. The world would rather numb out to all emotion than to feel any of it. I promise in the short term it might feel better but if we don't deal with all of our emotions they will eventually deal with us. That gets ugly. Betrayal is an emotion I wouldn't wish for anyone but for those of us that have felt it I hope you feel seen and felt by me. It hurts. To think that someone you love is the person behind the pain is worse. The worst part of betrayal is it usually comes with a lot of dishonesty and lies. I promise as awful as betrayal feels it is possible to come out the other side of it, stronger and more resilient.
