There are about 27 million nurses worldwide, the unsung frontline heroes who care for us, who are the eyes and ears of the doctor when he or she isn't there. May 6 to 12 is National Nurses Week. Operation Scrubs, started by Pamela Jane Nye, is a permanent virtual Nurses' Wall of Gratitude at www.thankanurseteamchallenge.org. You can leave a "Thank You" starting May 6.
