Manage episode 342294020 series 2784563
We start the episode with Krishna sharing her journey. She came into her mother's womb in an unconscious way, which meant that when she was conceived, her mother was not conscious. Her mom was young, and her family was very large and Catholic.
Not knowing what else to do, Krishna’s grandparents kicked out her mother out of town when she was pregnant and told her not to return until she had a husband. So she came into this world trying to navigate was her mother’s shame, confusion, and being unaccepted. She grew up trying to fit in where she didn't belong. The father her mom chose for her was toxic; angry, blaming everyone for his misery, controlling, and narcissistic. She also then had to undo many of those patterns as well.
We talk about the spiritual lessons she came here to master were which were trusting herself, accepting and feeling safe in her body and safe to be who she is to be on a soul level. She initially went to acupuncture school which was the first thing that showed her a healing path. She went on to learn many more modalities and has freed herself from the shame she was carrying.
We talk a lot about the unconscious and how it impacts us. We also go over the nervous system and Krishna guides us through a somatic exercise to help connect the mind/body and begin to settle the nervous system down. If you enjoy discovering how your family patterns play out, you will enjoy this show!
