We're back for Part II on the topic of menstrual dysfunction and for this episode we're focussing on heavy menstrual bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, pre-menstrual syndrome and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, also known as PMDD.
Our guest this week is researcher and physiologist Jess Freemas who suffers from PMDD and she tell us her story of symptoms, including bloating, headaches, nausea and cravings and how the disorder has affected her life plus the management strategies she has put in place.
We speak about all the above disorders including how common they are, how to tell if you potentially could have a disorder and the treatment options available for each.
