We all need to figure out what is the highest and best use of our time. For most of us, this is building our business or working at our job full time. However, you should still be investing on the side. One of those ways is investing in real estate.
Real estate investing in a rental property is a way to build a sustainable passive income in addition to what you are doing. (I know, it’s not our typical guest, and I wanted to shake up your minds and get you thinking about your profits and investments differently.)
In this episode of the #FearlessPractitioners #Podcast, I chat with Lane Kawaoka about investing in real estate to build a sustainable, passive income stream. Lane shares his entrepreneurial story and tips on how a new business owner can be smart about their money.
ABOUT LANE KAWAOKAAfter 12 years as a Licensed Professional (PE) Civil/Industrial Engineer, Lane began to focus 100% of his time on investing and helping others in his Passive Investor Accelerator & Mastermind.
He began investing in 2009 in rainy Seattle and was able to buy a property early right after college. After discovering the difference between ‘Cashflow Investing’ and ‘appreciation investing (gambling/speculating)’… he moved his portfolio into 11 single family rentals in Birmingham, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Pennsylvania. Today, he is investing in syndications which invest in Class C & B Multi-Family Apartment, RV Parks, mobile homes, and assisted living facilities. His mission is to help regular people into good deals that were once only accessible to the rich.
