With a goal of centralizing disparate health data and providing access at point of care, EHR is using blockchain to collect data globally to allow easy access for patients with an ability to grant permission for access to doctors and other health professionals. The pandemic is driving the need to reduce healthcare costs by eliminating redundant efforts and treatments not in the patient's best interest or long-term wellness and for patients to share data to address population health emergencies.
