So They Won’t Let Your Representative Into That Disciplinary Meeting. Here’s How to Deal With That!
Manage episode 332425121 series 3003707
Hi everyone
We hope your employment rights week has been positive …as we near the start of summer… which seems to last for moments rather than weeks these days.
This week we are into part two of our series on being accompanied by a colleague or trade union representative, at formal meetings with your employer. In this episode, we want to talk about your rights to have someone with you in a formal meeting, even if the date of formal has to be postponed for up to five day, to allow your colleague or representative, time to attend the meeting with you.
We also answer a listener’s question and we look at a real tribunal case that dealt with this very issue and which had within the case, a very interesting twist. You’ll find the link to that case, at the bottom of these show notes.
As usual we welcome your comments and questions and we would love it, if you would like, share and subscribe to this podcast so you don’t miss a thing! Finally, you can find all our support and help information at the bottom of the show notes where you’re listening to this podcast episode. Just hit any of the links and you will be taken straight to our help pages.
Until next week
Have a great employment rights week
