" Today, The Alt-Country Show premieres the music video for "Chicken Flew the Coop" from Ben Stalets. The track is on his forthcoming album, Everybody’s Laughing. The new album drops on August 27th. When we got in the studio, we recorded the base tracks and It sounded good, but my producer, Bunky Hunt, knew it was missing some guitar and pedal steel parts. It ended up sounding a lot more full that way. I’m grateful I trusted him.” On the Video: “Marco North came up with the idea for the video. He hit me up with, “love the song, would like to do something with a chicken man” and I totally agreed. It turned out great and I love it.” On the Album: “This album was a turning point for me in every sense of the phrase. It was a turning point for me as an artist. I could write how I felt without losing myself in the words.It also felt like the band really came together on this album. There are some songs that don’t have the full band, but for the majority of it, it’s us. We started figuring out our sound finally. This record is like Ben Stalets becoming Ben Stalets.
