Today I got to record the news with Andrew and we look at how the slow fade out shot happens on this phase of the pandemic; emerging from the emergency. Dr. Groove supplies you wish a deep delve of a mix into his current headspace, all about love, heart, gratitude, time, community, fish and faces….A mix reflecting the thoughts at the ending of this war/emergency.
News: Andrew illustrates just where we are at, and what a strange phase we have come through with last week we gad 657 going into hospital last week, and there is still 4,500 health care staff out last week on Covid leave. And then this fifth wave looks like this from the 28th of June 2021 —> Jan 24th 2022 -> 770,000 cases, [16% of the general population and 50% of these in the month just gone], 9,335 hospitalised with Covid and 821 into ICU and 1049 deaths confirmed since. So what is in place is a monitoring system for udner 4’s and over 40’s through PCR testing, and then it looks like we are going to carry on, hoping that the hospitalisations continue to be lower, 81% this week in comparision to the week previous. However, since we re-opened last week, we are expecting that there might be some rises, which would not be reflected in the figures for the next couple of weeks. So it looks like we are learning to live with this, whilst monitoring the numbers needing to go into hsopital. Maybe the next show might be an epilogue….
