Our guest this week on the Destination CMO podcast is Jessica Jensen, the Chief Marketing Officer at Indeed. In her current role, Jessica is responsible for global brand, communication, product and acquisition marketing. Before joining Indeed, Jeeica led B2B marketing for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and other Meta platforms. As we talk through the different milestones in Jessica’s career, you don’t want to miss her fascinating insights from each role. Jessica joined Facebook during a huge period of growth for the company, as Facebook acquired Instagram, launched Messenger, and bought WhatsApp. Jessica talks about the challenges and lessons involved in running a brand portfolio as both a consumer and B2B platform, in 50+ countries worldwide. Global brand marketers will relate to all the audience segmentation involved at that scale, and how it can grow a CMOs capability as a global marketer. You’ll also hear about Jessica’s experience as the CMO of OpenTable during the Covid-19 pandemic. In Jessica’s words, working in the dining industry during Covid was “not for the faint of heart”.
