The Summer Diet Detox Series has been a highlight to my summer as we have been in your ears this summer ditching diet culture. On this episode, I talk about my idea of the "No B.S. Diet." My goal is to help you discover what you see and hear about food and how it affects the way we think, talk, and act about food.

I discuss the latest health trends such as "gut health", "apple cider vinegar", "detoxes", "cleanses" and how they may be harmful to your health. The No B.S. Diet deletes the food shame game and takes a look at those social media accounts that advertise "why this food is bad for you" or "how to only eat "clean" foods, because everything else is dirty." Adding fear to what you eat and how you treat your body can SELL supplements, programs from people with no or very little education in nutritional sciences.

I also talk about the dramatic increase in eating disorders in children and why we need to stop obsessing about food and be the best role models for our kids.
