On this episode of Consumer Behavior Conversations, we get an inside look into the life of an HR manager and a successful woman in the workplace. Allison and Brooke, two students studying Marketing at North Dakota State University, got to sit down with Linette Dahl, a Human Resources Manager for Appareo. Throughout the podcast, Linette fills us in on some of the details of her job, including daily responsibilities, the hiring/firing process, and how young people entering into the business world can make themselves stand out!
A bit about our guest, Linette graduated from NDSU in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration. She held an internship at RDO Equipment during school which led into a full-time career when she graduated. Now, she works as the Human Resources Manager at Appareo Systems right here in Fargo.
Our main goal for this podcast was to shed some light on the culture of customers and businesses that work with Appareo and discover the culture of the company itself. Another goal we had was to learn more about the role human resources plays in a company and what is looked for in potential employees. Finally, we hit on the topic of women in business and how Linette’s experiences shaped her into the business woman she is today!
