RedOne steps Behind The Rope. One thing is clear from chatting with RedOne. He has worked with everyone who is anyone in the music business. From humble early beginnings - born in Morocco, early music career in Sweden, staring over in the United States from scratch, RedOne is here to chat about it all. “It all” includes working with Legends Jennifer Lopez - he co-wrote / co-produced “On The Floor”, and Lady Gaga - he produced many Gaga hits including “Poker Face”, “Bad Romance” and “Just Dance”. RedOne chats about what working with JLO and Gaga was like - the highs / lows, nuances and fun stories of each. RedOne also chats about some of our other favs he has worked with such as Michael Jackson, some of the music legends he would love to collaborate with such as Queen B herself, Beyonce, “A” list music hang outs with Icons like Bono and Stevie Wonder and how winning several Grammys changes you. In RedOne’s case, it does not. Of course we also had to ask about working with our Queen Madonna! In other news, RedOne has created a new digital and centralized talent show platform to directly connect musical talent, record labels and fans - SpotStar. He chats about that plus whether traditional Music Competition Shows like American Idol and The Voice work in the modern world in which we now live, the “politics” of the music business, the current state of music today - SOS, and just how SpotStar may change the face of music forever going forward!
