From our ~250 podcasts over the years, it feels like the ultimate goal of most brewers is to control the entire process from grain to glass. The team behind Brasserie La Ferme are already living the dream with their property in Shefford, QC, with over 100 acres of land where they grow hops, a variety of cereals, fruits and berries, and they even have a company running an apiary in the backyard. While it may not be possible to grow literally everything they need, they're off to a fantastic start.

Husband and wife team Jonathan Thibault and Mara Do Santos, alongside our fave co-host Noah Forrest of Beerism, joined Cee for a great conversation about going from homebrewers to owning a farm, the unexpected challenges in running a farm brewery, how a stolen tractor ended up guiding their branding colours, their decision to keep it local and organic, why they chose bottles over cans, and a whole lot more. We cracked open their Bière de Table, IPA Rustique, Rousse De Seigle (Édition Bourbon), and Porter Framboise. Cheers!
