Would you swipe left on your current job? What about future prospects? You get it all wrong when you only think about following the rules of a career path that someone else told you you should want. Let's try a different perspective that's more focused on the relationship you want to have.
- Do you want to be together? If the personality/culture of the firm isn't suited to yours, it's never going to work.
- What do you want to create with this company? If they aren't going in the direction you want to go, or can't commit the resources to initiatives, it's splitsville.
- What do you want to explore with them? How can you impact the industry together?
- How can you help them expand? Just like love, it's a two way street.
