I think all of us want to be exceptional parents, but life has thrown us a curveball that overwhelms our instincts and know-how. Sarah explains that's ok, we just need the right tools. She supports families in three unique ways:
Coaching Relationship Development Intervention (RDI): Sarah coaches parents of kids with social communication challenges and autism to teach their kids the skills that make relationships (and life!) work.
Sarah works with parents to brainstorm challenging situations and behavioral issues so they can put effective supports in place and teach their kids essential skills.
Navigating: Sarah's parents figure out what supports to put in place and helping them navigate medical, educational, and community-based systems to access those supports.
Guiding Exceptional Parents also hosts a Book Club, Parent Workshops, and Online Classes.
