Before he ever got into stand-up comedy, J.B. Ball was just another college athlete with dreams of making it to the NBA. Given the success he's found on stage, however, it looks like he's made a slam dunk of an alternate career choice.
A native of Florida, Ball has found big success since transitioning from performing on the hardwood to in front of brick walls. Selected for the prestigious "New Faces" showcase at the 2016 Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, Ball's comedic resume is filled with appearances on major platforms including Comedy Central, Comcast, Sirius/XM and CBS among others. In addition to stand-up, Ball is a talented sketch performers as evidenced by his Comedy Central Digital short “Who’s the G.O.A.T.: MJ or Lebron," one of the platform’s most successful of 2019 with 3 million-plus views. In 2020, he released Ball4President, his debut music comedy album complete with music video sketches for each song.
