Annie was swept off her feet early by a German Count after being a private air hostess. She lived a jet-set life in Europe as a “Douglas wife” delivering luxury cars to wealthy clientele, before returning to her home in Australia to raise her daughters. After her husband siphoned off much of their wealth to move on with his next partner, Annie was left wondering just what happened. She shares her secrets to living on a beer budget and surviving now on Centrelink with limited savings.
