We are so excited to share this week’s episode, "Blending Families After Tragedy and Loss" with Scott and Vanessa Martindale, and special guest, Jessica Ronne. This podcast is for you if you’re looking for support as a caregiver, would like to learn how to support the caregiving community, or you’re in need of hope in the season of blending your family after tragedy and loss.
Jessica and her husband, Ryan, are parents to 8 children one of which, Lucas, has profound special needs. She is an author, speaker, podcast host, documentary producer, caregiver, advocate, and executive producer of “The Lucas Project.” Jessica’s book “Blended with Grit and Grace,” tells the story of her family and their trials and tribulations through stories about their blended life together, and she wrote it as a follow up to her first memoir about meeting Ryan. She and her family live in Michigan and are working to build their dream accessible home. Jessica’s mission through her work with The Lucas Project is to provide recognition and respite to special needs caregivers.
