Knowing your Being and connecting to all else is essential for awakening. So often we think the spiritualized mind is our Being and get stuck in using the mind to awaken the mind. Additionally we can spend years "watching" the mind rather than connecting with it. While watching is helpful to detach, connecting is essential to transform and heal. They are vastly different.
