Former American Idol contestant Syesha Mercado had her second child taken by Child Protective Services. The first was under suspicious circumstances by a doctor erring on the side of abuse far too often. The second was via police intervention and recorded on Instagram live. Parenting is a difficult job, and on our worst days we could be misconstrued as bad parents. There is no manual for how to raise a child, and many times early parents are left scratching their heads when their children don't thrive. Let's pray Syesha and her partner get their children, and reputation, back.
