In this episode, Luke Norman and Nick Moore give a brief recap of the season so far followed by a preview of the ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships that will take place in Dordrecht, The Netherlands from March 5-7, 2021.
Additionally, we share part one of Elma Smit's interview with two time World Champion, American Figure Skater Nathan Chen.
Produced in conjunction with the ISU’s new monthly YouTube This is #UpAgain, the Show which will bring inspiring interviews with skaters who have overcome adversity and risen to fight another day. Each episode of the Podcast will also feature some key moments of the interviews. The #UpAgain show host Elma Smit will dive deep into her guests’ stories and for the first episode, she is joined by Nathan Chen, the two-time ISU World Figure Skating Champion and five-time US Figure Skating Champion. Chen talks in frank terms about overcoming his disappointing performance at PyeongChang 2018 – and how it inspired him to become virtually unbeatable in the following competitions.
