In the first episode your hosts Liangyu & Yang and our guest Shan will talk about feminism in China: not just in the online world, but how local newspapers narrate #metoo and more. How 'traditional' media outlets report #metoo in China is under-discussed, people are more likely to view Chinese feminists as middle-class well-educated elites, living in the Weibo echoing chamber. In this episode, we will discuss these ideas.
