This week I had an honest conversation with my friend Leah Grey about practical ways to cope and seek help when your loved one is struggling with an addiction.

I deeply appreciated her candor and vulnerability in sharing her own story that I think will resonate with those who have been in similar shoes or are simply wanting to better understand and grow in compassionate support of those around them who may be going through the same thing.

Leah Grey is a candid, faith-based writer who helps wives of addicts to set boundaries without screaming. In 2016, she was working as a hairstylist while her husband was in rehab for a substance addiction when she started a blog to see if there was anyone else out there like her. Four years later, her website now has over 130K readers, she’s won two prestigious national writing awards, and her blog was nominated for the David Mainse Best Blog of the Year Award. Leah teaches courses on how to set boundaries that align with the Word of God, facilitates an online support community, and recently completed her manuscript, No One Brings You a Casserole When Your Husband Goes to Rehab.
